Adjusting, resizing or converting a picture is not hard, but it may get tedious if you have to manually perform these tasks on multiple images. Batch processors are the ideal tools for situations like this and if you want an application which is both effective and easy to use, you should consider trying ImBatch. It offers the same capabilities as other similar programs, but it also provides an elegant interface and easy to understand options. You can execute numerous actions on your photos, in a single run, and it takes only a few minutes to make the necessary preparations.

You will be glad to know that ImBatch is freeware, so you can use all its functions, for as long as you want, without paying. The software comes in a small package, so its files can be installed fast and easy. If you are using Windows 2000 or any later edition, you can run this application, without any problems.

In terms of functionality, ImBatch is very straightforward. You just need to load your pictures, on the left half of the interface and add one or more editing tasks, on the right half. You can add images with a standard Open dialog or by dragging and dropping the files on the interface. The available editing tasks are found in a drop menu and you must select one in order to add it to the list.

Tasks are added as collapsible structures, which contain a series of drop menus. Once you add a task, you may expand its entry and make various selections, to modify its parameters according to your needs. For example, if you add the Resize task, you can choose to resize the pictures by percentages, pixels or other measuring units, to constrain the proportions of the pictures, to keep the original DPI or set a new one and more. These options can be selected from different drop menus, but you may also find counters or sliders.

As previously mentioned, you may add one or more tasks. If you change your mind, you may deactivate a task, by clicking its check box. Alternatively, you may deactivate individual settings, from a certain task. If you are satisfied with your settings, you can save them as a file and load it at a later date.

Pros

You can define multiple editing tasks and execute them in a single run. The software is very easy to use, so you will not have any difficulties with its functions. Its interface has a modern design, which can make your work more comfortable.

Cons

If you want to add a watermark, you must type a file's path yourself. If you need to process multiple pictures at once, ImBatch is what you are looking for. Due to its simplicity, you can batch edit your images with only a few clicks.
